Your News Young Knights to tame Warrior spirit

With lock Glen Kenworthy and prop Stuart Corsar joining the Knights’ injury list, Director of Rugby Lynn Howells makes a number of changes to the side that narrowly lost to Bedford last weekend.

In the backs, Howells is able to keep faith with most of the backs who played against Bedford, the only exception being on the wing where Oli Goss, fit again after concussion, replaces Andy Wright. In the pack Matt Challinor, back after an ankle injury, comes in for Kenworthy whilst Irishman Shane Cahill replaces Corsar on the bench. In the back row, Howells gives a first start to 19 year old Chris Walker, last season’s England Under 18 captain, who they have on a dual registration agreement with Leeds. He comes in for Andy Boyde who replaces him on the bench. Also on the Knight’s bench is 21 year old scrum half Peter Jericevich, who is with them on a short term loan from Glasgow, covering for the injured Nathan Jones.
