Teignmouthís Under 9 team won their last game of the Season maintaining their unbeaten run of 13 games in 2008. In total the boys have played 21 games winning 19 and losing only 2.

The team put in another good performance with 6 different players scoring. The first to touch down was Morgan Tait closely followed by Archie Pope, then Luke Veacock broke from half way to score his first ever try followed by a second with his next touch of the ball. Freddie Fearnley scored the last try of the half to give Teignmouth a well deserved 25-10 lead. The second half saw more open running rugby with Dan Woollnough scoring his 29th try of the season and Kyran Rendle scoring his 36th.

Jamie Kelly (unavailable through injury for three weeks) finishes the Season on 27 tries - an outstanding record for the three boys. Archie Pope scored the last try of the game which brings his total tries for the Season to 12, securing his place as the top try scorer amongst the forwards.
