Your News Knights to run the extra mile

Doncaster Knights Players are turning out to support both Doncaster and Sheffield Sport Relief Miles.

Giant American Lock Luke Gross will be heading a team of heavyweights to the Keepmoat Stadium, as Donny the White Knight leads the Knights pack around the Keepmoat Stadium Mile to support this fantastic cause. Knights community Coaches will also be running Tag Rugby sessions at the Keepmoat to help keep the children entertained and to encourage healthy physical activity.

The almost 500 strong Mini Junior Rugby section at Castle Park will also be doing their bit to raise money for Sport Relief. The Children will be running a mile in odd socks before their games scheduled for that morning.

Justin Bishop heads up a set of players taking part in the televised celebrity mile at Sheffield, as VIP guests you should be able to see Bish and the lads in their kit on the BB Sunday morning. Although this mile is for fun Knights fans know the competitive nature of Justin Bishop so he will be looking for a good time.

Supporting Sport Relief is not just for professional Sportsmen and Women, and Doncaster Knights would like to wish everyone well taking part in any mile Sunday and congratulate them on their fundraising efforts.
