Your News London South Africa hammer Weybridge

With three league games to go there was no opportunity for anything but a win for London South Africa, and the exiles didnt disappoint. Having trounced Weybridge away earlier on in the season a home victory was on the cards only five minutes in when Anton Kriel got his first try of the day. Christian van Rooyen added one his own try after ten minutes, and Matt Fendicks conversion pushed the score into double figures. Weybridge began to find their feet, but they could only hold out for ten minutes before a Fendick penalty took it to 15-0. Kriel got his second just before the half-hour to round off a fantastic first half forward display, and Fendicks conversion allowed the home side to go in 22-0 at the break.

Weybridges half time talk seemed to do the trick, but they could only hold out for a quarter of an hour before the Warriors added more points to their tally when Werner Swanepeol went over. Kriel got his richly deserved hat trick on twenty minutes, and with Fendick making the kick the exiles were out of sight at 34-0. Malcolm Mirfin continued his return to form with a try of his own soon after, and Fendicks conversion brought the fifty point mark within sight. Unfortunately it was not to be, but the unrelenting Kriel got his fourth as the match began to wind down and Fendicks conversion was the final score as it finished 48-0. A fantastic forward performance set up the win, and with two league games to go the season is going down to the wire as LSA seek another back-to-back promotion.

Next week sees the Warriors travel to Chobham in the semis of the Wimbledon Cup, for more information visit
