George Offer took off from the restart wait a solo break from own half to score in the corner. West Bridgeford then dug in deep and managed to hold Deepings at bay until Chris Day followed up an initial break by Matt Morton and Reece Harry to race the length of the pitch from their own 5metre line and score the best try of the game.

Deepings racked up more tries from Reece Harry, Tom Williams and Scott Davis.

The “strong like Ox” forwards turned over a ruck ball on the Bridgeford 22 enabling Struan Millar to pick and go, scoring under the posts.

With the 50 point mark approaching at half time Deepings made several substitutions at half time, but it was Tom Williams and Felix Cunningham securing their second tries that secured West Bridgeford‘s fate, with score at 00 – 52 15 minutes into the second half under the NLD league ruling, the referee called the match short.
