Hat-tricks from Liam ONeill and Xavier Andre helped Henley to a 65-19 win over faltering Redruth. The Hawks scored a total of 10 tries in a bonus-point win that keeps their promotion bid on course. They trail SSE National Two South leaders Worthing by seven points but with a game in hand.

It took Worthing just 24 minutes to bag a try-bonus point as they threatened to run riot against Clifton at Cribbs Causeway. However the Raiders failed to maintain the same intensity after the break and had to settle for a total of six tries in a 38-21 win.

Third-placed Hartpury College kept their slim play-off hopes alive with a 39-18 win away to Shelford. Hartpury never looked back after taking a first minute lead through a Craig Jackson penalty. Jackson went on to kick three conversions and a further penalty as well as being one of six different try-scorers on the day.

Launceston closed the gap on fifth-placed Shelford to just five points after completing a 74-10 demolition job on basement side Barking. The Cornish All Blacks ran in 11 tries with full-back Kieron Lewitt scoring twice and kicking 19 points. Scrum-half Richard Friend and lock Ben Hilton also crossed for try doubles.

Canterbury passed the century mark for tries scored this season during their match at Taunton, but that will be of little consolation to the men from Kent who fell to a 31-17 defeat in Somerset. Centre Luke Plummer scored twice for Taunton and he was joined on the scoresheet by full-back Gary Kingdom, who also kicked 11 points, and Jemba Bull.

The tightest game of the day came at Warners Bridge where Southend claimed the narrowest of victories over Chinnor (36-35) thanks to a late Harry Hudson try. Full-back Robert Kirby finished with 21 points after scoring a try and kicking four penalties and two conversions.
