Your News England Women internationals to be at Yatton RFC

On Wednesday Evening 10th April just before 6.30pm the ‘best in the district’ facilities at Yatton Rugby Football Club will be abuzz with the search for potential talent or just those who fancy trying their hand at Girls & Young Ladies Rugby (the attached Poster gives details).

Where the future playing talent (or just ‘fun’ Rugby enthusiasts) lies hidden now may not be that obvious, just a glance at the background and interests of role models in the England Ladies squad will tell you that – and the two hour session evening on the 10th April will give young ladies the rare chance to rub shoulders, seek advice, hear answers to FAQs and maybe get man-o-mano with developing household names like ;-

Izzy Noel-Smith (see her picture in the attachment), the lady Rugby Player with the iconic signature of her glowing ‘Red faced’, has played Backrow for Bristol Ladies and been awarded 5 caps for England

Since first playing at the age of eight at Monmouth, Isabelle Noel-Smith has climbed the representative ladder with England U19, U20, Sevens and A teams and took the final step to a first Test cap when being called off the bench against France at Châteaurenaud in November 2011. Three months later she scored a maiden try at that level against Scotland in the opening Six Nations Championship match.

Or perhaps they would like skills tuition and a chat with;-

Kim Oliver

Involvement in judo from the age of five, along the way to a black belt and now body boarding as a hobby gives Kim Oliver wide ranging skills that complement her talents as a rugby player. A former swimming teacher at Bath University Swim School Kim has had no less than 42 appearances for England

Or How about;-

Amy Wilson-Hardy

Who is a total contrast and definitely not what you would expect -

Amy Wilson-Hardy

Amy is now in her third year with the England Under 20s. She is at Bath University studying Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, and also plays the violin and is in a string quartet. Amy cites Chris Ashton and Brian O’Driscoll as her favourite players – well that fiqures!
