Jersey are now ten points clear at the top of the SSE National League One table after recording a bonus- point win in the only game of the weekend to survive the cold snap. Another

big crowd of 2,207 turned out to see the league leaders in action against Stourbridge and Ben Harveys men did not disappoint their supporters. Jersey ran in six tries, influential duo

Donovan Sanders and James Copsey claiming two tries apiece, and No.8 Nick Trower and Glenn Bryce also got on the scoresheet in a 44-7 victory.

Jersey visit mid- table Sedgley Park in the next round of fixtures, while their main title rivals Ealing and Fylde face long journeys to the north- east with respective games against

Blaydon and Tynedale to come. Jersey have the best away record in the division, losing just two games to Ealings three, while Fylde have only been successful in half of their ten

matches away from the Woodlands. Fourth- placed Rosslyn Park also head north to take on Wharfedale in the Yorkshire Dales, while Macclesfield, who are level on points with Park,

have arguably the easiest task on paper with a home game against a Coventry side that has only won one of its last six league games.

Meanwhile, Barking and Blackheath face each other in a battle of the bottom two at Goresbrook knowing that defeat would be a hammer blow to their hopes of staying in the division.

Elsewhere, Cambridge are at home to Birmingham & Solihull and Stourbridge host Cinderford.
