Ealing maintain top position in National League One despite going down to a 24-35 defeat at the hands of Macclesfield. A hat- trick from openside flanker

Ryan Parkinson added to tries from Josh Fowles and Sam Moss saw the Blues record a bonus- point victory against an Ealing side that failed to pick up

anything from the encounter.

Fylde cemented their place in second after a 41-20 win at struggling Birmingham & Solihull. The Bees put in a spirited performance but Fylde still ran in six

tries with only one from the home side in reply. Third- placed Rosslyn Park also managed to cross the whitewash on six occasions in a 40-18 win against

Sedgley Park.

Jersey had to rely on two tries in the last ten minutes to finish off spirited Tynedale and move up one place to fourth as a result of their 26-8 win over the north

east outfit. An entertaining game at the Rectory Field saw Blackheath beat Coventry 34-25 to replace the Midlands side in fifth.

Cambridge returned to winning ways with a good display of attacking rugby rewarded with a 23-16 victory at Cinderford, while Blaydon, inspired by former

England Saxon Hall Charlton, enjoyed their first away win of the season at bottom- of- the- table Stourbridge. Wharfedale finally put to an end a depressing

run of four successive single- score defeats to beat Barking 29-3. Centre Tom Davidson scored one of the Green machines four tries, as well as adding three

conversions and a penalty for a 14- point personal haul.
