Camberley Ladies remain unbeaten after their second win of the season against Portsmouth. The team were one player down, however, they still managed to come out strong with an excellent try in the first five minutes by Lisa Goldsmith. Camberley continued to dominate the first half with two more tries, a stolen scrum and plenty of mauls prevented from going to ground by a strong pack. Portsmouth played a good defensive line and broke through for a try near the end of the first half. Both sides were visibly tiring after a long first half extended by 13 minutes due to injury time.

Portsmouth came back to challenge Camberley in the second half and played some good attacking moves helped by the advantage of three penalties to score another try. Camberley remained undaunted and pushed back to secure a 33-13 win with tries from Debbie Haydon, Jess Mourad and Kiersty Sims. Overall Camberley can take a good deal of positives into their match with Reading on the 12th October.
