Yatton RFC have just announced the appointment of former Queensland Reds, Bath and Worcester back 5 forward Mark Gabey as their Head Coach. Mark is pictured below with next season's club captain Nick Garnham and current Gloucester 2nd row Will James who will assist Mark, along with recent Bristol signing, Samoan centre Junior Fatialofa.

In recent years the Club has progressed from Somerset Premier to

establishing itself in South West 2 (West), whilst improving their playing

facilities to include some of the best changing rooms in the area, a well

equipped gym, a floodlit hardcore training area, 2 new pitches, and a fully

equipped treatment room under the control of club physio Tony Bartlett.

The appointment of the new coaching team, alongside plans for an all-weather

floodlit training area lead the next stage of the Club's development.

Anyone interested in joining an ambitious but friendly rugby club should

contact the clubhouse 01934 832085 on training nights or email playing@yattonrugby.co.uk or visit our website www.yattonrugby.co.uk

Senior training is on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7-00, starting 17th

June.

Any young players interested in joining the club's successful U17s should

contact Mark Osborne on 01934 832330. They have won the Bristol Combination

Cup for the last 3 years and look forward to competing in next season's

National Cup for the first time.
