Having reached the mid point in the Championship North season the Chargers have to date stamped their authority winning convincingly against anyone willing to stand in their way.

This week was the turn of Leosadian Ladies to be on the wrong end of a 57-7 drubbing as Camp Hillís Chargers found an extra piece of form in the fog of Leeds.

After a shaky start, giving Leoís easy pickings early on, the Chargersí composed themselves under the posts as the hosts added the extras. It was a one horse race there on in as no less than seven players got their names on the score sheet. Captain Rebecca Lewis lead from the front scoring twice herself and kicking six conversions.

Alice Mary-Smith, fully deserved her forward of the match pint for a cracking performance at flank. Her exposure and extra game time playing for North Midlands starting to show as she cements her position in the Chargersí line up. Likewise, Charlotte Hewer made a welcomed return at centre assisting in several of the backs tries before closing proceedings with a couple of her own.

A great team effort by the Chargerís gives them a well-deserved four-point lead over league rivals Waterloo with all to play for in the second half of the season. This Sunday see the Chargers play welcome Team Northumbria to The Shrine while the Crusaders are away to Rugby Lionesses.
