A great three days of rugby was had my the boys from the Northern Suburbs with fitness testing on Monday with the conditioning coaches of FC Cape Town in attendance. Unfortunately the bleep test didnt work on the cd player so the kids escaped the gruelling test of VO2 max. Instead upping their other target of the 'Tackle Count' between skills and drills with Coach Vaughan and his 2 new assistant coach Tahir from Pirates RFC and Coach Denovan from Western Cape Sports School.

Tuesday saw a day of positional skills and a Q&A with the former Springbok Chester Williams with an insight into the careers of a professional player in South Africa. Talking on commitment, desire and determination as the core benefits to a goal in life. The attention and questions grew once the wages of 6 million Rand came into conversation spurring the boys to acheive fantastic fitness results on the Bleep Test- VO2 calculations were made for each boy giving an outline of their base fitness
